Letterpress printing with photopolymer plates

150.00

Monday March 6, 6-9PM, for computer design teaching;
and Saturday, March 18, 11AM-6PM to print

This is the "new fangled" way of letterpress printing - a photosensitive relief plastic plate material. We'll create designs using software, make plates, and then print. It's a more environmentally-friendly way than the zinc and magnesium plates used 100 years ago, which required an acid etch.

We'll meet Monday, March 6 from 6PM-9PM, to learn about setting up artwork, and designing for letterpress.

You'll then have plates made and we'll print on Saturday, March 18.

Bring laptops Monday if you can, but it's not at all essential.
