Printing from Photopolymer Plates
Introduction to Letterpress Printing
Class 2 - Printing from photopolymer plates: We cover the use of plastic photopolymer relief plates – how to go from design-software-derived designs to letterpress printing. Learn about getting plates made, adhering them to bases, lockup, makeready, presswork.
Designing for letterpress has important differences from designing for digital/offset printing - distinctions will be pointed out..
This is a 2-meeting workshop
